THE DELTA CAR

A 73’ Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale equipped with a Rocket 455 cubic in engine. This Delta was used for many of the practical effects sequences during the full run of the series Ash vs. Evil Dead – filmed in Auckland NZ. It has been fitted with an air suspension system in the rear of the vehicle, a dash light/signal control box and remote radio dial cable. These items were used to create the effect that it had been possessed by the Necronomicon. It also has a removable section of the roof to allow for specific overhead camera angles. This is The Delta’s first appearance at BruceFest in its screen used appearance!
